Dr. Patrick Grecco is a licensed psychologist, trained at Columbia University and the University of Pennsylvania, including under Dr. Aaron Beck, one of America's most influential clinicians and founder of cognitive behavioral therapy.
ABA is the only scientifically proven treatment methodology for individuals with Autism. ABA is used to improve communication, social, and independent living skills and reduce problematic behaviors that are interfering with an individual's ability to be a part of their community. AAMH employs Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and Registered Behavior Technicians that have received rigorous training in the implementation of ABA treatment. BCBA's and RBT's are certified by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB), an internationally recognized and accredited certification board.
Cognitive Behavior Therapy is a treatment methodology for individuals with varying mental health diagnoses, including ADHD, Depression, Generalized Anxiety, and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). AAMH provides MT services to enhance our ABA treatment programs through a focus on family engagement with the child and clinical team.
AAMH offers Psychologist evaluations through our Outpatient Services department to support caregivers in achieving a meaningful overview of the strengths and needs of their children, potential diagnosis, and to determine effective treatment services. Our children receive annual evaluations to ensure that the diagnosis and treatment methods remain consistent with their individual development throughout the course of treatment.
