Provide 1:1 intervention in community/school settings with children and adolescents on the autism spectrum. Provide behavioral interventions and crisis management for children and adolescents with mental health diagnoses. Collaborate with treatment team (BCBA’s, LBS') to provide input and feedback that contributes to the development of a client's treatment plan. Monitor child's behaviors by documentation and redirecting challenging behaviors. Implement Applied Behavior Analysis under the guidance of a BCBA and Behavior Specialist.
*Must have be a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with the BACB*

AAMH is currently seeking a Pennsylvania Licensed Behavior Specialist (LBS) to join the team to support our children and clinicians with potential for growth into a full-time salaried position. The candidate for the position will have demonstrated experience conducting Functional Behavior Assessments, Skills Based Assessments (i.e. VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, AFLS), Treatment Planning, and Clinical Supervision. Most importantly, the candidate will have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills and a desire to help families and children pursue their goals.
*Must be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and a Licensed Behavior Specialist.*
Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments with children with autism and other various or concomitant diagnoses and participating in clinical teams collaboratively with other professionals. Administer skills-based assessments to determine deficits in verbal, play, and social behavior and functional skill development and in designing, implementing, and/or training others using individualized language, play and skill-based curricula. Conduct a range of behavioral assessments (i.e., Functional Behavior Assessments, VB-MAPP, ABLLS, curriculum-based assessments). Visit the homes, schools, and community settings to consult with other clinical team members and model interventions for parents and caregivers.
*Must have a Master's degree in Counseling and supervised experience as a counselor*
Mobile Therapy is intended to provide in-home (or community) mental health therapy services to children and families in the family environment. Therapeutic goals are individualized in collaboration with the child’s family and appropriate involved professionals. Broadly speaking, goals include increasing problem-solving abilities, decreasing violent and ineffectual intervention methods, increasing the frequency of effective communication, etc.
